My name is Szintra
My musical journey began in Hungary, in a small town in the countryside. I played the flute in the wind orchestra throughout my childhood, but shortly before choosing my career path, I knew that music meant much more to me than anything else. During my studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria I took up jazz and popular music in addition to classical flute, because I felt I needed to broaden my horizons. It was a very good decision, because learning improvisation brought me closer to music than I had ever experienced before.
From then on, there was no stopping me. Not only did I teach with great passion, and continue to do so to this day, but I also discovered the joy of composing music. Alongside performing live, this became my most sincere means of self-expression. First I wrote dance music for hip-hop dance theater pieces, then for short dance films in the same style. I only began to develop my own music later on and the countless feedback I received from all over the world on social media helped me a lot.
My goal is to use my music to tell others that they are not alone. Whether it’s a sense of peace and balance through my meditative pieces, a desire to understand our emotions in my piano playing, or relaxation after a long and tiring day with my ambient music. We all experience the same or very similar feelings and are connected through the universe. Use my music to calm down, to understand, and to find your own peace.
Even though I have found my style, my journey into the wonderful world of music never ends. I am always trying and learning something new.
